Oil found inside intercooler

ICQ>

This weekend while trying to find the cause of my erratic idle condition in my 765T wagon, I decided to remove the intercooler and noticed a good amount of oil (1/2-3/4 cup) was inside. I replaced the turbo about 3 yearsago and the car still runs fine. Is this normal to find oil in the intercooler? What's the likely cause of this and is it an indication that my turbo is going? I plan on using synthetic oil this time to find out if it'll help.

Nick
