Re: Oil found inside intercooler

ICQ>

As to idle...it could run the gamut, from old spark plugs, ugly injectors to disconnected vacuum lines or sticking idle control motor. Will take a bit of exploring, but start with the easy things first.

You didn't write how many miles..this could have a bearing on the idle problem and the oil in the intercooler.

The oil in the intercooler is more than likely from your blow by hose...but as others pointed out, even if this is turbo seal escape oil...no bigga deal...if you have say 3 years and 40K on your new turbo and this is all the oil that was condensed in the bottom of your intercooler...then don't worry, be happy.

Oh yeah, I don't think the two are related....
