Wiper Motor transplanet 200 84

I am planning on transplanting a wiper motor from an old 240 into my 61 Impala. The geometry is right and the modern motor with multi speed and intermittent capability is a big upgrade, not to mention that the wiper motor from the Impala is shot.

Some wiring and testing questions. Is one of the four wires going to the wiper motor a ground, or is the motor grounded by being bolted to the body? Should I be able to run the four wires from the wiper thru the firewall of the Impala and wire up to an aftermarket switch? Will installation of Brick parts make the Impala handle like a brick (good) or look like a brick (very, very bad)??

I'm so confused.
