Short cicuit in O.D. wiring 200 1987

Volvo Brothers:

The orange arrow on my dashboard for the overdrive cut-out goes off and on by itself. A few days ago the overdrive cut out by itself [I could tell

from the tach] and I cut it back in at the first stoplight I came to. I'm sure it's a wiring issue, but where should I look? My burnt-out bulb warning also comes on intermittently even though nothing is burned out.

I'm sure a dealer will skin me for just looking. Is this a

common problem in the 240 series? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Bob Glotzer
