Volvo Electronic Ignition Conversion 140-160 1972

You guys may already know about this trick, but here goes. I just installed an oem electronic ignition setup from a 1975 164E on my 1972 164E. What a differnece!! The car has more power and is much smoother. At the same time, a buddy of mine installed an electronic ignition from a 1975 B20 equiped 240 on his B18 equiped 122, with similar results. We had to pay $60 for each setup, and that bought us the distributor, harness, and control module. The only pushrod redblocks that came with the electronic ignitions came in the 1975 164Es and the 1975 240s, so they are hard to find. This is a quick ans simple conversion that apparently is well worth the time and money.
