Leaks 200 1986

Hi all. I'm having big probs with water ingerss into the cabin of my 240 estate (wagon). The first is a leak into the drivers footwell area. I'm pretty certain that I have now managed to completely seal the windsceen but the water still comes in an absolutely soaks my carpet. Ironically, washing the car newver causes a problem, only rain. The other leak is the front passenger side where water leaks into the footwell through the trim cover over the fuse box. Is there a mod I can carry out to halt this? All help greatly appreciated as it's now chucking it down with rain again and I am in serious fear of my sanity going for a walk...Wibble.
