Anyone ever use this stuff? 200 1987

I saw a brochure for an oil treatment and a gas treatment that's supposed to remove engine deposits. It's called BG Advanced Formula MOA (goes in the oil), and BG MI 3000 (in the gas). A local Volvo dealer is selling these products. Has anyone ever tried these products? Is is a good idea to use stuff like this? And should you use it in a 155,000-mile 240 engine?
