I did the bearings in my 262 not long ago, and it is easily accomplished with commond tools. No press was required. Before I bough new hubs, I'd at least pull the bearing caps and have a peak inside. You'll probably be fine just replacing the bearings. Both IPD and your Volvo dealer should sell a complete kit with the bearings, caps, and grease. I don't remember the price, but it was pretty cheap and I did both sides in an hour or 2.
