OK, So I wont jump out the window yet....... 200 80GT

Hi, All....... I just got back in from diagnosing why my Blower Fan suddenly quit. Luckily, it turned out to be the fuse (and, strangely, when I checked continuity of the fuse with an Ohm meter, it had "1k ohms", not completely open). I had horrific visions of having to remove the back wheels, the engine, the dashboard, the Volvo emblem on the back, and other related things, so I could see if it was the Blower Motor itself.....

I already need:

a) A P/S rack (Leaking fluid, though very little), and

B) An a/c compressor--was told that mine has leaking seals...Mechanic re-charged the system in April (Was not cooling at all), and said I may get another season- or two out of it, but eventually need new compressor.

Now, about 3 weeks ago, it quit cooling again (compressor seems to come on, at least the clutch kicks in). I am assuming that the seal leak was worse than they thought, or GOT worse.

I am reluctant to do these jobs myself, but I was quoted something like $600 for the rack (Part price)+ Labor, and similarly outrageous price on the compressor. Anyone know of people in Central Jersey who can give me a deal on such work? TIA
