Heater blower motor adapter kit - possible to buy kit without motor? 700 1988

The folowing pertains to 1988 740 Volvo Turbo wagon.

I purchased a "new style" blower motor/fa from IPD. IPD told me it was a straightforward installaton in my car - no modifications necessary. When I attempted to install the new blower motor unit, I discovered that I needed an adapter kit. IPD cannot locate an adapter kit for me. Does anyone know where I can purchase an adapter kit without the blower motor? (I would prefer to avoid the hassle of returning the blower motor I have already purchased.) I am willing to purchase in USA or Canada. Thanks.
