SRS fault isolation 900 1993

My battery suddenly went completely dead in my 1993 940 Volvo. When I (properly) jumped off the car the SRS light came on and has stayed on even after I replaced the faulty battery. I have read the info about testing and possibly resetting the SRS, but cannot find any SRS test point near the cigarette lighter as described in the FAQ. Am I looking in the wrong spot? Any suggestions. I hope that I can clear the fault and the bad battery did not mess up the SRS system. Thanks.
