Jim,

You didn't offend me. I tried to answer your question from my point of view. I think you asked an honest question, I gave you my take. What I genuinely get irritated with are the people on this board that B.S. people asking questions such as you did. I'm a Volvo fan, plain & simple. I also like many other makes of cars. I find the primadona attitude of some of those on this board amusing, if not irritating. Volvo's are fine automobiles. I happen to have six of them. Four turbo's, one NA, and one Chevrolet powered 242. My significant other drives the 86, NA 240 DL. She was quite happy with it until I made the mistake of letting her drive my 2.3 turbo Thunderbird. I just bought her a 5spd. 2.3 Thunderbird last weekend. We'll sell the 86 now. I happened upon a 245TI the same day we bought the Bird. She will still have a Volvo to drive. It will just be a turbo wagon instead. I doubt I'll see you on the highway, but, if I do, I'll wave for sure.
