There's a 240 somewhere out there that does the 1/4 mile in the 9's. The group-A 240s have been widely successful racecars. When a mustang v8 is put in a 240, its a MUCH nicer vehicle than a mustang, along with all the FUN that comes along in a mustang.

Different strokes for different folks. And, for the price of swapping a v8 in a volvo to the price of buying a used mustang: The volvo would last forever. The Mustang...well...you'd be junking it in a couple years.
