Ever had a 260, or a diesel? Those motors need to be put out of their misery.

Ever tried to tow an 18 ft boat with a 4cyl Volvo, even turbo? Does the boat owner need to buy a gas sucking truck, just because you said so? Power is used for things other than just pure speed.

I'll never forget the 244 I saw on the Blazer frame, and who said there was no such thing as a Volvo SUV
