Small Tach Installation 200 1988

I recently aquired a small tachometer for my '88 240. This is the optional unit that is mounted to the right of the main cluster. I have the tach, bezel and rubber feet, all in excellent condition. I have found the white/red stripe wire from the coil behind the dash. The tach has three connections: +, -, and ground, plus the light. How do I wire this into the existing harness and get everything to work? I have had little luck so far.

Thanks, John
