I own a 88 760 and a 90 740.... and if I had a choice ? 760 all the way !! The electrical problem stuff is mostly bogus it seems to me. Everything eletrical on my car was fixed with a little soilder and contact cleaner for like $3 doing it yourself. The big thing is the dreaded relays... its easier to buy new ones but expensive. If your tolerant of annoying tasks you can take them apart and usually fix them.
