Re: getting it started after long sit 140-160 71

Kirk,

Take a quick run over to where ever the car is, and put several healthy squirts of Marvel Mystery Oil through the spark plug holes of each cylinder. Let it sit for as many days as you can. Before you attempt to start the engine, be certain that you turn it over several times, with the spark plugs out - relieving the engine of any Oil that might still be on top of the pistons.

What else to take - ALL of your tools; maybe a distributor cap, rotor, points, fuel filters (what is in the tank will be nasty), new fuel, and a map back to your shop so you can send your significant other back for all of the stuff you forgot.
