B20 2130cc - a worthwhile performance improvement ? 140-160 74



Hello,

I'm currently running a b20 block,FI head and twin Dellorto 40's (which still needs some tuning).

I'm going to do a rebuild on a 8 bolt block and I'm wondering if the big bore (2130cc) is a worthwhile modification when used in conjuction with my head/carb combination ? Head gaskets and machining is not a problem - the only expense will be getting the B21 pistons.

The other thing is the camshaft - I have a new R-sport cam which I'm also considering - but will it be streetable ? Or should I stick with a K or D cam ? My 145 is my daily driver so lot's of traffic driving thrown into the equation.
