Should I change the main & rod bearings?

The engine ran a very few minutes...maybe 30 minutes before the cam disintegrated ( I had cked all the bores with the same lifter so I missed the fact that I had two oversize lifters! Ooops) So thhis sidaster threw all kinds of metal into the oil that got pumped everywhere...

Question is? is it sufficient to wipe off the bearing shells and burnish a few slightly roughened areas with scotchbrite? Or is there metal embeded at a micron level that is going to get me in a few thosand miles?

In other words shuld I be ordering new bearings?

Thanks!
