Re: Loose Belts - Car studders?? 700 89ti

Hey,

ok tomorow i'm going to pop off the timing belt cover however the glazing statement sounds like something that might be true b/c today i gave it gass and i sounded like the engine spun up but i didnt go any faster and the tach stayed the same. And just to make sure is there ANY way that i can check timing by myself (i'm a weekend mechanic things like hoses, seals, brakes, rotors and electrical is the farthest i've ventured so far). THanks for all your help,

BTW i've been poing here for 5 years and that double post was an accident i thought i caught the back button in time to fix my error but i didnt, sorry.

Thanks again,
