K-jet and FPR 200 82

Hi everyone!

Has anyone here ever experienced a k-jet faulty FPR? In the 700-900 FAQ, I have found two matching articles but I'm not sure they've been written about the k-jet fuel system ;

in fact i'm experiencing an unsolved fuel pump noise, and I suspect this could be related to a faulty FPR.

Apart from that, I read in a 144 tech manual that the 144's fitted with the k-jet have an adjustable FPR, they said you have to remove the screw near the fuel income to the FPR, there should be several shims under it and one may adjust the pressure by removing or adding shims.

does it work the same way in my brick (1982 245GL with B19E K-jet fuel system, BW55 tranny) ?

Thanks for your ideas!

antz
