Cracked Crankshaft Gear 240 DL Sedan 200 1982

New problem on same car 82 240 DL Sedan non-turbo. I'm beginning to think my great buy at $200.00 for this car maybe not so great after all. Only problem the previous owner reported was a front engine seal leak. Great I thought - Flame trap - fised that along with a clogged tube extruding from breather box and then I found blue silicone around the middle front engine seal, still not to bad as I only invested in a replacement timing belt so far and a can of gunk. I did find this afternoon a crack in the crankshaft gear and I realize that something more ominous maybe going on than I care to know. But, perhaps I'm just being overly pessimistic? Has anyone ever had this problem before? How hard is it to replace and where should I order one from? It's not listed in my IPD catalog.

Thanks again for all your help.
