Bertone Fuel Injector Relay Problem 200 1978

My 78 - 262-C w/PRV seems to have an odd second relay for the fuelinjection/pump system.

It appears that the fuel pump is not OME, according to my mechanic.

There is another relay, rectangular metal and plastic with four prongs

that seems to be wired in the system

before the usual green plastic fuel injection relay. It is made by Littefuse Inc and carries the number 204912.

I have noticed that in the past,

the odd relay became very hot (resistor?) and the car stopped running.

The relay failed to clickover when the key is turned.

Disconnecting the relay and shaking it\, got the car running again and this worked

for a few weeks, but no longer. Now,the odd relay does click over,

the green standard one does not.

I tried replacing the green one, to no avail.

None of my usual parts sources have any idea where I can get a replacement.

Question: has anyone else seen this set up? Can I wire around the bad relay?

Littelfuse Inc has not yet replied to my inquiry.....
