Wiring Harness replacement (Hard or easy?) 200 86

I have an 86 240 DL. (4dr., auto trans, AC, Power steering, etc)

I am considering replacing the wiring harness.

I have seen used Volvos for sale that have had the Front harness replaced.

Is this wiring from the firewall foward, and is this a simple plug and play or is this a potential nightmare that I should avoid alltogether.
