Auto tranny shift points 200 1991

My 1991 240 automatic shifts too soon from first to second (at about 2,500 rpm full throttle). Second to third and third to forth are just right (which means if I want to wind it out to 5,000 rpm I can). If I adjust the kick down cable so the first to second is where I want it, (so I can wind out first), the two higher shift points are too high. I have had the tranny fluid changed twice using the process that sucks out all the fluid. It shifts crisply with no slipping. This has done this since new, the dealer would only fiddle the the kick-down cable. What can be done? BTW it has 140,000 miles and is in otherwise very good condition.

Thanks,

Steve M.
