Did Volvo ever make a front bech seat for 240s? 200 86

I was wondering if Volvo ever made a front bench seat for a 240. I have a family of 6 and occassionaly I need to use the 240 as alternate transportation. I would love to swap in a bench seat or make a custom seat and add in safety belts for some one to sit in front in the middle.

A seat could probably be made with the e-brake recessed deep into the seat with some type of pad or cushion to cover it when I had a need to carry a 6th passenger.

I know you will probably tell me to get a 240 wagon with the third seat, but I've had this car for 10 years and it runs great. I don't really want to buy someone elses problems. Plus I need to buy a beater 4wd pick-up as I will be building a log home in the upcoming year.

Any thoughts (No disclaimers needed)
