1st time in 11 yrsCap &rotor R&R time?DIY? 700 90

11 yr old "original equipment".O ring leaked slightly few yr back noted first by dealer.Wants 100 to replace.Used CD2 Stopleak few yrs ago.Leak stopped.

Car feels sluggish esp uphill in PA(Toronto is very flat). Is it time to do the cap and rotor before e-test.(doubtless will do plugs, filter prior too)

Has anybody done it recently?

Where did you get your parts and what parts are needed.I can think of cap rotor and maybe one or 2 orings.for this vintage with a long Rex/Regina coil wire(coil on driver's side),is this the RPM dist cap where there is only one way that the rotor can go in and you cant' go wrong type of operation.

(Have done it on a 92 Mercedes which has a failsafe orientation for the rotor installation.Bosch but Made in Spain),

Thanks

Tom confused re Hall and no Hall effect.
