Coil spacers to raise a car for winter driving?

Well, last year during the snow storm when we got alot of snow, i had to pull my 745T out of the driveway to clean t and even with light snow, the car got stuck in the side of the raod where there was hardly any snow (makes me wish i had the LSD off the 744T but thats long gone to the yards...) and it was impossible to get it back up the driveway but finally dug it out and it made it off the road and up the driveway. Long story short, the car is too low and i would like to raise it up (without having the stock springs put in) and get a set of nice 185/70/15 snow tires (Toyo, dunlop, who knows ha) so can I use coil spacers to raise it up? I have the Intrax springs which drop it about 1.75" but being a wagon it sits lower in the back. Thanks
