Random Performance Issues 200 1983

I've noticed that over the last few days my brick has developed some troubling problems and I have really no idea why. The most important thing which has started to happen is that while accelerating, if I push down on the accelerator more than half way, at about 3k RPM the car will start bucking like it is missing, however it will continue to accelerate. I can avoid this by playing easy on the pedal. If I cruse steady on a side-street in second or third gear around 3k RPM, the car also will stall on a semi-frequient basis, I have not been able to duplicate this effect every time however, and pushing in the clutch and then releasing it will start the car again.

My brick will be out of comission for awhile as I have to do a few things to it (change the waterpump, ac compressor) So anyone want to suggest what may be causing this, both fuel pumps work at key II, but maybe the pressure regulator or something along those lines?

I apperciate all the help, You are more than likely saving me alot of money which could be spent on labor.

Jeff
