91 945SE diffrent engine 88 765T? 900 1991

Hello,

I have been browsing the net for this answer but cannot seem to find it. Is there a diffrent engine/turbo from my 88 765T to a 91 940SE? I know my 765T doesnt have the computer setup that the 940 has. Is it better with the computer system/diagnostic's that the 940 has or not? HELP please:-)
