Dear Santa, is there really a service interval light reset lever? 200 1990

Most embarassing for such an obvious taskj, but while I have my dash diemboweled for other reasons, I thought, for the first time in owning the car for 11 years, I would RESET THE SERVICE INTERVAL LIGHT MYSELF. Proud of my resourcefulness, I prudently referenced the location in my Haynes, and recalled a number of posts on this board as to the location. Well the damn thing ain't there. And, the recessed button on lower right-hand corner doesn't do anything, though you can push in practically an inch to give the impression that you're accomplishing something (just like elevator buttons). What am I missing?
