New symptom??-driveline vibes 200 '87

I was going to check out the volvo killers brick today.( it's got some kind of driveline vibes going on , really noticable over 50 mph )....while

driving it to the station this a.m.(on duty the weekend)...i noticed that

the vibes seemed to subside when going up an incline...this seems weird,

because the main symptom is that it vibrates when applying power....if i

let off the gas at say 55 or 60 the vibe decreases....hit the gas ...vibe is back....does this thing with the incline ring any bells..?....

Anyway, i figure to check the bushing on the tranny.....shaft support bearing....u-joints........anything i should also be checking??????

TIA for any input!!!!
