Wiring harness replacement 200 1983

I have a 1983 245 non-turbo 2.3 fuel injected with the crumbling wiring problem. I have checked a couple of places for the price of the wiring harness. The best quote so far is $430. Is this a good price or should I keep looking. I have read the threads on electrical systems for 240's and plan to remove the intake manifold to get to the wiring. I also plan to replace the flame trap and injector seals. Any other advice?

I have owned a 1975 245 for 10 years and 90,000 miles but the 1983 is new to me. I just found this Brick Board. It's great, but I am a little confused about Bricks. Why Bricks? Solid? Boxy? Tough? Heavy? Slow? All of the above?
