PCV and Oil Filler Caps 120-130 1965

Hi Gang ....

OK I have been chasing around PCV Problems for quite a while now. I now KNOW for certain .. thanks to the Haynes Manual that I have it hooked up properly for a B20 and I find that I am still getting seepage around the oil filler cap. So far I have tried the following ... Cleaned the cap, tightened the locking ears, tried to disassemble the cap with no luck ... but can blow through cap ... so not blocked. Gasket NOW is broken so will be looking around for a new one ... took the nipple out of the balance pipe and made sure it was clean ... that didn't help .. so have now bored it out to 1/8" ..from advice gleaned here ... still getting seepage.... exhaust does not show blue smoke and other than seepage around the filler cap there are now no other leaks ...... Since I bored the nipple out, I have really good vacuum on the hose from the balance pipe ... it almost seems to me that there is way too much oil flying around under that rocker cover that so much oil can make it into the area of the filler cap... could it be that there is a baffle missing in there to separate the liquids from the fumes ? The engine shows good compression and runs quite well now that I have installed a good "C" camshaft ... however it doesn't seem to want absolute full throttle ... tends to stumble on that last 1/2" to 3/4" of accelerator pedal travel....

This engine is beginning to get a bit "Long in the tooth" and with the sound of slight piston slap during warm up period I am beginning to think I had better start getting that other B20 block I have ready to assume motivational duties.... But Darnit .. the doggone thing is running quite well, all things considered .... if I can only get the oil seepage stopped around the darned filler cap .. I can live with it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated .....
