I learned something the hard way today... 700 88

Front tires dangerously worn on my '88 745Ti, I decided to swap on a pair of tires mounted to a pair of rims off the long-gone 242Ti. Glad I checked for rotation after mounting the SECOND wheel. That oh-so-close fitment I saw through the rim was actually serious binding where I wasn't looking, at the top of the Bendix ABS caliper. Dammit.

So, I swapped the 242 rims to the rear axle after checking fit- worked great. The rear 740 turbo (all 15" rims) went up front so the car would actually roll once done. That said-

There's no good way to fit the older Turbo wheels to the front of this car, is there? I was really hoping to mount the set of winter tires supplied with the car to the Turbo rims, but it looks like I can't use them. Anyone know of some way around this?

Thanks-
