speedo cable 200 82

I just finished putting in a new fan motor when, to my dismay, I noticed the speedometer has stopped working. I have undoubtedly damaged it as I wrestled putting the ducting back in. A fatal mistake, as the manuals tell me the cable can have no more than a 4in radius at any bend. Mine looks quite bent as it comes out of the instrument cluster. Damn!! After dealing with the blower motor- which I would donate one of my kidneys not to do again- this is not something that warms the cockles of my heart. The odometer has also stopped, so one day this will increase the value of the car!! Perhaps I should leave it.

Any tips?

bben
