"Part 7" Windsheild wipers...trying to get it on... 700 85

For some reason my windsheild wipers work fine one minute, and the next, the passenger side starts sticking...then they come together in a mesh of rubber and metal, and when they try to go their seperate ways...its not funny to me. One time the passenger blade forgot to stop! Ended up trying to wipe water off my hood...nice gesture I guess, but it scratched the hell outta my paint! Winter is almost here, and know I'm gonna need em. Has anybody else had this problem?
