Alternative to Sil-Glyde? ALL

Hi all, what do you all use on your brakes?

This is my main question: I bought a jar of green "ultra disk brake caliper grease" made by Permatex. Seems about the same consistency as Sil-Glyde. Has anyone else tried this stuff?

See, I bought a tube of SG from IPD, and I used almost all of it just doing front pads. The stuff works great, I love it. Problem is that I can't find it in the local shops, and I need more than just the little tubes. So I saw this 8 oz jar of Permatex stuff, and bought it. I just wonder if it will be as good as SG. Hopefully the stuff will be good, and the jar will last me a long time!

Thanks for any input!
