The engine starts quickly but requires some throttle to continue running, once in drive will operate about normally. At highway speeds all is good, but when the engine comes back to idle speed for a stop, unless the throttle is depressed the engine will stall. There was a check engine light on for several weeks prior to the no idle condition but operation was normal until 2 days ago, when the no idle condition started. There are no ignition fault codes stored in the self-diagnostic unit. However there were 3 fault codes in the fuel injection program:1-1-3 fault in fuel injectors; 1-2-1 fault in signalto/from air mass meter and 2-2-1 fuel system compensating for extreme rich or extreme lean air/fuel mixture at cruise. Also ran the control function 2 and 3 with no failures. After cleaning the connectors to the air mass meter and the throttle pos. switch, fualt codes were erased and car went for a test run, idle was there but not at all stops.Checked fault codes again and got 1-2-1 fault to/from air mass meter. Will clean the throttle body next. Any other thoughts from the Brickboard?
