SAme old problem plus I need a Volvo mechanic in Va. Beach!! 200 1986

I am very disheartened at the moment because as I try to sell my Volvo wagon, 1986 AT, 200,000mi. she keeps coming up with new ways to sabotage that sale. This is still the same old problem...a driveability problem...she dies at idle now occasionally and dies whenever you have to let off the gas and get back on it in traffic. Once you get back on gas she sputters, tries to go and sometimes goes but mostly dies right there in traffic. It is dangerous and unpredictable and my mechanic has exhausted options at this point(reset all idle specs, checked fuel pressure, looked at wires although he isn't an electrical specialist, took water out of gas, cleaned fuel system, etc.)...so I am looking for ideas on what this may be AND/OR any good Volvo specific mechanics in Virginia Beach/Norfolk/Chesapeake, Virginia that anyone may know of...

If this problem keeps up I will never sell her and I'll just have to donate her to a good cause and take the write-off!!

Thanks.
