AW 72 L will work in a turbo car ? 200

Anyone on this board has some experience with the AW trannies ? What I would like to ask is if a AW72L could handle the torque and heat generated by a turbo car.The AW 71 is a great tranny but the thought of having a locking torque converter is appealing.Thanks.
