Previous Posting - Rattles 900 1993

Thanks for everyone's input on why I might have rattles at 3k revs.

Today I had the opportunity to climb under the car. After knocking things with the butt of my hand I discovered that there was a rattle in the exhaust pipe, near the resonator. Upon further investigation, I found that there were a couple of pebbles residing inside the "cheese grater" that serves to protect this part of the exhuast system. I un-loosened the 4 bolts, dropped it out, cleaned it out and replaced. NO MORE RATTLE. What an easy fix.
