sporatic fuel supply, pumps and wiring 200 82

I bought this 82 at an auction. The main fuel pump wasn't getting power and the injectors were plugged up. Bought a new relay, just incase, played with the wiring, got it running fine. One day, say 150 miles later, we went to town, shut it off and it would not restart. Pull one injector to see if it was getting fuel, it sprayed, and wanted to start. Plugged the injector back in and it ran fine. Next day or so, went to town, stopped at a stop sign, it died. Would not restart. The injector was not spraying. No power to the pump. Yellow and red lines to both pumps. Except to the fuse box. There it is red coming in on the main and if you go out from there directly to the pump it comes on without the key. So we hooked it up to something else, both pumps run. (Looks like a new main pump)Still, barely fuel to injectors. (Note: cold start was particially plugged, which made us wonder about contaminates)When it runs, it runs good. (except initial start up). Non-electronic fuel injection. Fuel filter?
