Tire size recommendation 900 92

We have on our 1992 965 wagon Michelin Pilot XGT H4 P195/65R15 tires. These tires have done well but I'm considering putting on a P205/60R15 tire instead. Do any of you have any experience about going to a more performance tire size?

This is my wifes car and she wants better handling first, noise level second, and tire wear and cost are of little concern.

Been looking at putting on Michelins again but have not settled on anything yet.
