I have a 1990 760 Turbo. The air conditioning has been working fine all summer until now. When I push the button for the ac the switch lights up a constant blue like everything is ok but the compressor will not kick in and the same goes when switched to defrost. I can see only one wire besides the ground that goes to the compressor. The wire goes down between the clutch and the unit itself. I put a volt meter on this wire and it showed up as being ground (not positive) also no matter if the ac switch was on or not. I would greatly appreciate any info as to how the compressor is powered up or what to check next. All fuses are ok.
Thanks
