Passing smog in cali. 200 82

I have a 82 242

-mvp 2.5" exhaust

-ipd intercooler boost @ 10psi

-airbox mod!

The problem is that I live in California, and need to pass smog.

With the air box mod I probably won't pass. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem.

Can I just make it look like the engine pre-heat hose is really working with the airbox regulator?

What should I do?
