Install of alarm with keyless entry 200 1993

This past weekend I installed an alarm with keyless entry in my '93 240. The whole works...flashing parking lights, door lock/unlock, starter inhibiter, shock sensor, hood pin, etc. This was a pretty big job. For those attempting this in their own cars, you should know that the 240 does not have a door lock motor in the driver's door. I bought a used motor from the passenger's side, reversed the mounting bracket, and it fit perfectly...the holes are already drilled in the door. You just need to run the power, which I tapped off of the line from the rear door. To hook up the mechanical linkage I drilled a hole in the door lock arm that the normal lock/unlock switch attaches to and connected it do the new motor with metal from a hanger...seems to be working so far. Many hours of work, but it's a nice convenience.
