B-30 Crank Swap/Movie Sighting 140-160 1971

Greetings All!!!

I need specialized B-30 advice. Will the crankshaft from a '69 B-30

Penta marine engine swap into a '71 164 car block??? Car has automatic;

will the marine crank have the hole at the rear for the converter

stub-shaft???

Celluloid trivia: recently rented the video of a 1988 flick,

"Making Mr. Right". Story of a brilliant, nerdish scientist with

minimal social graces. Guess what vehicle the director (a woman)

chose for the over-brained boor to drive??? That's right--a 164!!!

First one I've ever seen in films. Nice looking '69-'71 in dark blue

or black. Scientist keeps repeating, "I don't do well with people",

at which I replied "MOST 164 loonies don't!". At this, my

significant-other nodded vigorously in agreement; but what does she

know--she drives a Chevy! Take care.
