1987 760 Smokes? Why? 700 1987

1987 760 Turbo Original Owner 164 K , Mitsui Turbo all dealer serviced.

Here is what the car is doing. Start it in the morning and while it is warming up it may smoke just a little. I am assuming this may be valve stem seals? Once the car is warm there is no problem as far as that goes. The turbo boosts very stong and will pull like no tommorrow. I checked the shaft play and it is very minimal. The compession is also very good 150+ on all 4 cylanders. The intercooler does not have any oil in the either. I am wondering is anyone has seen or heard of this before. The car will only smoke once and a while and only when in park. It does not seem to smoke in idle or when the turbo is boosting which is when you may think that it would.

Let me know what you think

Bill
