Fuel Injector/Pump Relay Woes 200 1985

Howdy folks....

Heres my dilemma... My 85 240 DL gas engine is having electrical problems of sorts. Heres what has happened so far... Car dies while driving, starts up after 10 minutes. Next day the car wouldn't start for half an hour, buzzing heard under glovebox. Car starts. Car dies while driving. Won't start. I acquired a new relay for the pump/injectors. Car ran fine for about 2 hours, died. Got a new relay, car ran for 10 minutes, died. Car still dead. The in-line fuel pump wasn't getting power, somehow. So its been re-routed through the fuse box and now is hot when ignition is on. There is spark, and the car will run on starter fluid, but i have yet to find someone willing to side on my engine and spray it in there while i drive down the road. I've got two relays, and no clue what to do next. The both appear to be fine, the contacts aren't sticking. I want to power my injector pump straight off the fusebox? any ideas? suggestions? warnings?

please help...

frustrated in keystone colorado.
